Friday night

We go somewhere chilled like Café 1 to sit and organise the following day's snowboarding.

Saturday morning

Looking over to Ptarmigan restaurant In the winter, I get up early around 7.30am and check the weather.

I phone the guys and meet up at the bottom of the mountain about 9.30 am - then hit the slopes for a day of snowboarding.

We usually fuel up at Ptarmigan restaurant which is on the mountain. Then it's back to the slopes. We come down at teatime and go to Café Mambo in Aviemore for a few post-slopes drinks.

In the summer, you're spoilt for choice. I might go clay pigeon shooting, mountain biking or quad biking - all are great fun. There's a great bike shop in Aviemore where you can hire bikes.
Or I could even go dog sledding with the Cairngorm Sleddog Centre. The dog's pull you on a massive go-cart on wheels!

Saturday evening

Rocpool In Inverness I love Rocpool for something to eat. The food's great - a surprising selection from around the world. Sometimes they play Cuban music, sometimes jazz. It's pretty chilled.

Clubbing in Inverness means Blue. It's the newest club, and it gets lots of big name DJs.

Sunday Morning

Glenmore Forest Brunch at Girvan's from 9am - lovely homemade food.

Later we might walk or cycle through Glenmore Forest. If we fancied something a bit more energetic, we might do some water sports at Loch Inch near Kincraig. Then we'd rest at their lochside restaurant and tuck into a great bar lunch.

Sunday afternoon and evening

We head back to Café Mambo (again) for a couple of Sunday evening drinks. If we're feeling cultured we might finish off the weekend by seeing a performance at Eden Court Theatre.
